Wethersfield is a residential suburb just south of Hartford, Connecticut.
Though world's away in many respects, it is very easy to get to, making it an
inviting destination for a leisurely day of sightseeing.
FROM NEW YORK/NEW HAVEN, POINTS SOUTH
o I-95 North to I-91 North to Wethersfield Exit 26, (Old Wethersfield)
o Left at end of exit, left at stop sign. Follow Marsh St. 1/2 mile to
village center.

FROM ALBANY/SPRINGFIELD,
POINTS NORTH
o From Albany, I-90 East to Springfield, then to I-91 South to
Wethersfield Exit 26.
o Turn right at exit, then follow Marsh St. 1/2 mile to village center.

FROM BOSTON, POINTS EAST
o West on I-90 (Mass Pike) to I-84 West to I-91 South to Exit 26.
o Turn right at exit, then follow Marsh St. 1/2 mile to village center.

FROM DANBURY, NEWBURGH, POINTS WEST
o I-84 eastbound to I-91 South to Wethersfield Exit 26.
o Turn right at end of exit and follow about 1/2 mile to village center.
When you get to Main St. turn left. Visitor parking is on your left
behind the Wethersfield Museum, 200 Main St. The Museum is fully accessible from the rear parking lot and has an elevator, rest rooms,
information desk, tickets, and gift shop. |
